What is On Ice Perspectives?
On Ice Perspectives was created by former Team USA figure skater Jordan Cowan, who wanted to bring a new perspective of ice skating to movies and television. On social media, Jordan creates and self-publishes videos of figure skaters from around the world, garnering a following of over 2 million on social media, and attracting attention that has earned him work on several major studio films, TV shows, and commercials, including an ‘Award for Excellence’ from the Guild of Television Camera Operators for his revolutionary work on ITV’s ‘Dancing on Ice’.
Using his highly customized filming equipment, Jordan works with productions of all sizes, and skaters of all ages, skill levels and disciplines, to make the process of capturing highly intricate figure skating routines, easy, fast, and simple.
On Ice Perspectives’ primary mission is to attract new fans to the sport, especially in a time when an entire generation has yet to experience skating in real life. Thanks to On Ice Perspectives, millions around the world can now understand the beauty and feeling of gliding across the ice alongside the world’s best figure skaters.
Jordan Cowan is available to hire as a professional experienced camera operator for film, commercial, TV and live broadcast work, on the ice or off.
